Key to Success

Everything begins and ends with you in your life. You wake up a certain way, eat certain foods, surround yourself with certain people and do and say certain things… That makes you who you are at this moment.

So, complaining about it… but being unwilling to change certain things… will lead to a lot of frustration, angst, and self-victimization.

You are the key.

You can control every aspect of your life by focusing on your foundation.

For me, this meant reassessing my food choices, my lack of exercise, the extreme amount of passive-aggressive behaviour in my family dynamics, the hollow friendships I used to have, and the mental destruction of my self-esteem.

No one forced me to be psychotically depressed, in pain and severely overweight… … no one but ME.

I allowed myself to make those choices unconsciously because I was following the patterns of my family.

It was only when I decided to wake up and reassess EVERYTHING that my life started to change.

So, instead of focusing on resolutions, focus on your FOUNDATION.

Your foundation consists of:

  • An exercise regime that you love💪

  • A nutrition plan that suits your body's needs💦🍏

  • A mental health practice (meditation, journalling, breathwork, therapy… etc.)💆

  • A spiritual practice (could be a gratitude list or whatever you wish to worship)🙏

  • Confidence-building activities (taking care of your appearance, facing fears, trying new things)💅

  • Personal Development (we can always learn and grow more)📚
